We had a good sale on Monday. Even with the rain we had a good turn out of calves and cows. Thin weigh cows are several dollars cheaper this week but the big fleshy cows are about the same as well as bulls. Alot of new crop calves came to town carrying some flesh and they still sold very strong. We really did not have any yearling cattle to test the market but anything that was long weaned was in high demand and bringing a premium. We will have 60-70 pairs next week off Jerry Woods herd dispersal of his spring cows. They will all be home raised and 3-6 years old with good calves at their side.
